“Oh no you don’t”

Thank you to everyone who entered the Photobird Photo Contest for February 2009! “Stop” was the theme and there were some great photos that made everyone stop and take a look. There were a few birds that stopped by, some bicyclists who didn’t stop, one four-legged friend taking a break, and another one politely requesting that a certain hat not be placed on his head.
Congratulations to Pradyot Kumar Datta, winner of the Photobird Award with the photo “Oh no you don’t“. This is a funny photo which I wrote about a week ago. The photo is a well-composed close-up shot of a bride from India warning the groom about marital rules. The lighting and clarity of the photo are very well done. Congratulations to Becky Cate, winner of the People’s Choice Award. Coincidentally, the titles of both winning photos this month are the same; Becky Cate’s photo is also entitled “Oh No you don’t!” Becky Cate’s photo is well-composed and very well timed, capturing a volleyball player at the peak of her jump and play on the ball.
