“A Morning on Crater Lake”

How very relaxing it would be right now to just recline on the lakeshore and watch the clouds go by. In a beautiful photo entitled “A Morning On Crater Lake” by Vicki Tinnon, you can almost see the puffy white clouds slowly shift and morph into different shapes between the jagged cliffs. How serene. And pleasantly relaxing.
Vicki submitted her photo into the Photobird Photo Contest for August which has the theme “Relax”. There’s plenty of time for you to submit your photo into this month’s contest. But don’t relax too much yet. Submit your photo first, tell your friends to vote for you, and then resume your position on the lakeshore. The contest is free to enter and ends on August 31.
Every monthly Photobird Photo Contest has two winners. At the end of each month, we pick one winner for the Photobird Award, and we will tally your votes to determine the one winner for the People’s Choice Award. You can see all of the previous contests and contest entries at this link.
Vicki Tinnon actually won the Photobird Award for the Photobird Photo Contest for May 2008 with her photo “Moving In“. You can see more of Vicki’s photos at http://www.photobird.com/vickitinnon/. Because Vicki won a Photobird Award within the past 12 months, she is ineligible to win the Photobird Award until May 2009, but she can still win the People’s Choice Award. Check the contest rules for more details.
The two winners for the Photobird Photo Contest for August will each receive the following cool prizes:
- Photobird account with 500MB storage space
- 1GB SanDisk Ultra II memory card
- Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson
